Custom Planing

A custom planing service is available. Our Stetson Ross A610 planer is able to process material up to 6' x 12' x 20'. Internal profiles enable us to split stock or to produce patterns onto lumber or timbers. We can double end trim (DET) random length or precision end trim (PET). We can also slash long material into up to six short pieces simultaneously.

We produce kiln sticks for Blueridge Lumber (50.5'') and Millar Western Forest Products (60'') simultaneously. Running 5/4'' 4' to a .25'' radius edge pattern and PET it into (3) PET 1000 mm pieces simultaneously for assembly into Insta-deck tiles.
